Uno Minda Launches Uno Star 2.0 App: Transforming Auto Component Shopping In India

The automotive sector in India is evolving, transforming how consumers buy automotive components. Uno Minda's New Initiative

Uno Minda, a key Tier 1 supplier to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), launched the Uno Star 2.0 app in the Indian market. This app supports 11 languages, including Hindi, English, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, and Oriya, for better market penetration.

Loyalty Program Features

The Uno Star app includes a unique loyalty program with a 5-Tier Reward System: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Customers in each tier can spin a wheel for rewards. This approach aims to offer more personalized services.

Mr. Parth Vora, Head Distribution at Uno Minda Ltd., emphasized the need for differentiation and personalization in loyalty programs. He said, "Loyalty programs mostly offer similar rewards and benefits to all the customers without understanding their preferences, which leads to a lack of differentiation and personalization. To offer those special services, Uno Minda has taken this step."

User-Friendly Registration

The Uno Star app has a straightforward registration process, catering to Retailers, Mechanics, Authorised service centres, and distributors. Mechanics need to provide documents like Aadhar and PAN cards. Others must submit documents such as GSTN Certificate, Business PAN Card, Composite Certificate, Retailer Bill, Distributor Invoice, Authorised Retailer Certificate, and Udyog Aadhar.

Comprehensive Rewards System

The app's rewards system allows users to redeem points through various mediums like Bank Transfers, Bank Gift Cards, and Gift Vouchers. This initiative aims to offer a tailored and satisfying automotive experience, setting a new standard in loyalty programs within the industry.
