TVS Offers Rs. 2 Crore To Lord Venkateshwara Temple In Tirupati

TVS Motor Company and Sundaram Clayton, both part of the TVS group have donated Rs. 1 crore each to the Lord Venkateshwara Temple in Tirupati. The amount was handed over in the form of a Demand Draft (DD).
K N Radhakrishnan, the CEO of TVS Motors and T A Ranganathan, the CEO of Sundaram Clayton, handed over the DD to the Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), D Sambasiva Rao, inside the temple.
The two companies, TVS Motor Company and Sundaram Clayton requested the TTD to use the money towards the 'Pilgrim Free Meal Scheme' known as Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust, run by the temple.
