Huge Traffic Jam In Bengaluru – Reason Boils Down To Just Two Car Enthusiasts
Bengaluru is a city infamous for its ridiculously long traffic jams. As such, traffic jams are common site in the metro city.
However, this particular headline-grabbing traffic jam was caused by just two individuals driving their respective cars on the roads of India's IT hub. However, both of these individuals cannot be held responsible for the traffic jam.
Diving into the details, the Dodge Challenger SRT and Dodge Charger SRT driven by these two individuals attracted the crowd towards them, and it is this crowd that created the traffic jam in Bengaluru. In fact, people immediately started gathering and started clicking photos and selfies with the cars.
It is also worth mentioning that the colour of both the vehicles and their loud exhausts further attracted the crowd in the city. In fact, the Dodge Challenger SRT sported an eye-ball grabbing Neon Green shade, whereas the Dodge Charger SRT wore a sporty-looking Red shade.
The video of the cars has been uploaded by Spotter India on its YouTube channel. As seen in the video, most people around these cars were clicking photos and recording videos of these cars. However, what is more interesting is that some of the people clicking photos don't even know the brand of these cars as some of them can be heard in the background stating these as 'Ferrari'.
As more people started gathering around the cars, it became more difficult for these cars to navigate the roads and ended up creating a traffic jam. However, Police soon cleared the way for these cars to move and both the Dodge Challenger SRT and Charger SRT can be heard accelerating hard once traffic was cleared.
In the video, it can be seen that the Dodge Challenger sported Dubai registration plates, whereas the Dodge Charger can be seen with Kuwait registration plates. This means both vehicles are likely to have been brought to India using Carnet through which a person can import a car into India without paying the ridiculously high tax and duty. However, the time period is limited to just 6 to 12 months.

As Bengaluru has a good number of exotic imported cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley and more, the general public seems to be bored with such cars as they have become more common in the city. Moreover, the muscle cars have definitely made the crowd go wild and super excited. Overall, with such a response from the crowd, Muscle car imports may look tempting to many elite car enthusiasts in the country.
