Toyota 'Mobi' Grabs Attention At Japan Mobility Show 2025
Japanese automaker Toyota has grabbed people's attention at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 by unveiling a mini car named 'Mobi'. Toyota says this 'bubble car' was designed only for kids' transportation.
This compact electric car is part of their 'Mobility for All' initiative, and as part of that, they have unveiled an AI-driven electric car only for kids. The concept car is fully guided by Artificial intelligence and operates autonomously.

Mobi has several sensors and cameras around, which help it track objects and roads. It also features a canopy door, expressive LED eyes, and an AI companion that guides, speaks, and entertains the children sitting inside.
The car's design is like a small pod inspired by a space spaceship. The door needs to be opened upwards, and the children can sit inside. Then the car takes care of the rest with the help of artificial intelligence.
With the help of AI, the car drives itself and controls direction, speed, and movements through traffic. In the meantime, Children can talk with the AI assistant called UX friend. The AI assistant can sing songs and engage in playful activities to keep the children entertained inside the pod.

The seats are made of fuzzy material to make the child feel at home, and the interiors are broad and airy to accompany a child. The roof also features ears, giving it a friendly and playful look. The Mobi comes in multiple colours, and it is fully electric, making it eco-friendly.
Toyota hasn't revealed its build as it appears to be made of light plastic or composite materials. Over the years, we expect the car concept to evolve, adding more safety features to make it more friendly to people. This concept car is the first to arrive, and Toyota plans to make multiple concepts for all ages under their 'Mobility for All' initiative.
