This Actor Just Took Delivery Of India's First 2023 Range Rover Sport

Britihs SUV manufacturer Land Rover started deliveries of the new 2023 Range Rover Sport only 2 days ago and images showcasing the Malayalam film star taking delivery of his new sport British SUV is already doing the rounds of social networks. The Facebook page on which the delivery was documented claims that this is the first 2023 Range Rover Sport to be delivered in India.
The Range Rover Sport joins the Audi Q7 SUV and the BMW 7 Series sedan and a special edition Mini Cooper in Tovino's car collection which also includes everyday heroes like a 4th gen Honda City.
Thomas' new Range Rover Sport features a shade of black for the exterior from the Land Rover lineup called Santorini Black. Tovino Thomas' new Range Rover Sport also features the Dynamic Styling pack that adds bronze accents in quite a few places. The actor also seems to have specified the biggest possible wheels on offer with the Range Rover Sport - 23 inches.
The interior features quite a bit of plush leather upholstery and owners can opt for a high-fidelity Meridian Sound System with 29 speakers including a subwoofer and an amp that can output up to 1,430 watts of power.
The new Range Rover Sport is offered with a choice of straight-six petrol and diesel engines that both displace 3.0-litres and are turbocharged. The diesel D350 produces 345bhp and 700Nm of torque while the Petrol P400 pushes out 394.5bhp and 550Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.
It is currently not known which engine Tovino Thomas opted to power his brand new Range Rover Sport but we suspect it to be the diesel as his SUV looks to be a First Edition variant which will only be offered for the first year of production.
The First Edition variant is also the range-topper of the 2023 Range Rover Sport lineup in India which starts at Rs 1.64 crore and goes all the way up to Rs 1.84 crore (all prices ex-showroom).
Thoughts On The 2023 Range Rover Sport
The 2023 Range Rover Sport offers quite a bit of oomph under the bonnet while also boasting the ability to go almost anywhere in the world. While its price in India is on the higher side due to import duties, we expect the new Range Rover Sport to adorn the garages of quite a few film stars and celebs to take them around the city streets.
