Top Gear Test Track Now On Google Street View
This is perhaps just as exciting as the announcement of the commencement of Season 21 of Top Gear TV Series. Google now has Top Gear's famous test track on Street View.

The Top Gear test track, used to set new lap times by the Stig and by celebrity invitees who try to lap as fast as possible in the ‘Star in a reasonably priced car' segment of the show, is now available for you and me to experience through our computer screens.
Since most of us will never get to drive around the Top Gear test track in an actual car and race against the Stig, Google now provides us with the virtual opportunity to experience the famous corners - Chicago, the Hammerhead and Gambon - through the lens of Google Street View cameras, mounted atop a ‘reasonably priced' Opel.
Giving you company will be the Stig himself, who is in a faster car of course. A Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Edition.
The Top Gear Test Track, located in Dunsfold, Surrey is a 2.82 km long circuit. The track, which is now a part of the World War II era Royal Canadian Air Force base, was designed for Top Gear by Lotus. Besides being used for the show the track has also served as the testing ground for supercars such as the McLaren MP4-12C.
Duncan Gray, Top Gear's Commercial Director said: "From anywhere on the planet, Top Gear's millions of followers can now explore the official track from the show with some spectacular shots thanks to Google Street View technology. We did have to tell The Stig to slow down a couple of times though."
Ulf Spitzer, Street View Program Manager at Google, added: "At Google, we're used to life in the fast lane, so we were thrilled to ride alongside the infamous Stig and capture imagery of what has become a British - and indeed global - institution for automobile fans."
