10. Audi SQ5

Taking the tenth position in our list is the Audi SQ5. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.1 seconds, thanks to a supercharged V6 under the hood that produces 354bhp. All that power is sent to all four wheels through Audi's famous Quattro system.

9. Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Next up is the Range Rover Sport, that not only means business off the road, but also means some serious business on the road. With the help of a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that develops 510bhp, 5 seconds flat is all it takes to reach 100km/h from a standstill. The Range Rover Sport is also a very good handling SUV, which helps you use all that power around corners.

8. Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG

It may sound very comfortable and luxurious, but the Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG SUV is also very quick. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds, thanks to a 5.5-litre twin turbo and a touch of AMG's magic wand, the SUV produces 557bhp.

7. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

‘Jeep' and ‘Grand Cherokee' may sound quite subtle, but the ‘SRT' after the name brings out the vehicle's performance nature. The Grand Cherokee SRT can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds, and the credit goes to the 6.4-litre V8 that produces 475bhp.

Probably a performance car on stilts, the Porsche Macan Turbo achieves 100km/h in 4.6 seconds with the help of a 3.6-litre twin turbo V6. 4.6 seconds is quick for an SUV!

4. Mercedes-Benz GLE63 AMG

At number four is another Merc, this time the GLE63 AMG. The German SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds, thanks to the same 5.5-litre turbocharged V8 as the GL63 AMG, but tuned to deliver 577bhp.

3. Bentley Bentayga

Bentley was synonymous with luxury and cars, but now, they have made not only an SUV, but a very quick one. The Bentayga manages to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4 seconds with the help of a 600bhp engine under the hood.

2. BMW X6M

As BMW calls it, the most powerful word. The M branch is very good at making fast cars go faster and in this case, they tuned the X6's engine with a couple of turbochargers to make the car deliver 567bhp. This results in a 0 to 100km/h acceleration in 4 seconds, and since it's way cheaper than the Bentley, it deserves the second place.

4.8-litre, twin turbo, and 570bhp. These are the kind of numbers the Cayenne speaks of and that translates to a 0 to 100km sprint in just 3.8 seconds flat. The SUV also boasts a top speed of 280km/h, but what really matters is how quick it gets there.
