Tony Stark's Car In Iron Man 3

Billionaire Tony Stark from the Marvel universe will be back on the silver screen in Iron Man 3 on May 3rd. Supposed to the last movie in the Iron Man series, this time we'll see our favourite man in an iron suit make a comeback to German car brand Audi.

Iron Man 3's 2nd theatrical trailer was released a couple of day back and in it we get the first glimpse of the car that Robert Downey Jr aka Tony Stark drives, which is an Audi R8 E-Tron. Go through the gallery below to learn about Tony Stark and his cars from the movie.

Besides spotting the E-Tron briefly in the trailer, Audi has now officially come out with the news, along with an image of Robert Downey Jr driving the car to drive the point home.

The E-Tron is the all electric version of the Audi R8 that was showcased last year. However, the E-Tron is unlikely to go into production due to increased development costs. The vehicle is powered by two electric motors generating 376 HP and 605 lb-ft of torque.
