Video: Thunderstorm Almost Destroys Maruti Suzuki Showroom In Raipur

Heavy rains lashed the city of Raipur, Chattisgarh in the last week, causing widespread damage to houses and property in the region. Though no casualties have been reported, a few buildings suffered damage and a few roads washed away.

Heavy rainfall and high wind speeds are the reason for this Maruti Suzuki Dealership also to undergo huge losses. Just a few seconds into the video, the glass of the Sky Automobiles building shatters, causing a few people inside to scream in fear. Later in the video, the false ceiling of the building also falls in pieces.

The video very well displays the brute force of mother nature in all her fury.

This particular video is being circulated on Whatsapp, stating that this occurred in the western part of Karnataka in the coastal city of Udupi. The coastal region of the Karnataka has received more than 90mm of average rainfall over the last three days, causing widespread damage to equipment and buildings. This Video however, is of Sky Automobiles in Raipur and not Abharan Motors in Udupi.
