The Rare 1970 Porsche 914-6 Is An Interesting Car
This story is about a certain Jack Griffin and his love for Porsche cars, in particular, his 1970 Porsche 914-6. This Petrolicious tells us about the life of Mr. Griffin in his own words - about his passion for racing and how it ended prematurely, and his love for Porsche cars, of which he has owned several over the years.
It is his 1970 Porsche 914-6, which he has owned for 38 years, that is the most interesting. And ‘interesting' is the word he uses to describe his car, not beautiful.
Porsche 914-6 is no where as famous as the prodigious 911 and neither is it as powerful. But the car is very rare and that is something about the car Griffin loves the most.
Powered by a 2.5-litre 6-cylinder engine producing over 200 horsepower, the car is said to very nimble, capable of taking some fast corners, thanks to its mid-engine position and light weight of just 907 kg.
To us, the car looks peaceful (it does sound ‘delicious' as you will hear) and a perfect companion of a car lover, which makes this our Facebook video of the day.
