MG Astor Rear-ends Tata Nexon Facelift – Viral Video
The Tata Nexon facelift is one of the most awaited SUVs of this year, and certain variants of the SUV demand a long waiting period.
Also. the Tata Nexon range comes with a reputation as one of the safest cars on the Indian roads. As such, a video of MG Astor rear-ending a new Tata Nexon facelift SUV has gone viral.
This viral video shows a Tata Nexon facelift SUV driving in the parking lot of a gated community, closely followed by an MG Astor SUV. However, when the Tata Nexon facelift stops after making a turn, the MG Astor driver fails to respond and rear-ends the Tata Nexon facelift SUV.
Analysing the now-viral video, we can clearly see that the MG Astor driver had plenty of time to stop his SUV and avoid the accident. We suspect some kind of distraction to be the cause of this accident.
Further analysing the video, we can also see that the MS Astor driver failed to apply brakes and stopped the vehicle only after rear-ending the Tata Nexon facelift SUV. Luckily, the magnitude of the impact was relatively low.
Post-crash images also reveal that the Tata Nexon facelift SUV stays true to its reputation with a dented bumper, and boot. On the other hand, the headlight of the MG Astor SUV is damaged beyond repair and the front bumper also seems to have taken a pretty bad beating.
That being said, such accidents can be easily avoided and show how dangerous a small distraction can be even at such low speeds. Luckily, no one seems to have been injured in this accident.
