Tata Nexon Topples With Passengers Inside — Here's What Happened To The SUV
Tata Nexon toppled after avoiding an accident in Goa.
A Tata Nexon accident toppled the SUV after its owner Mr. Shreejith Kumar tried to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle. The owner tried to swerve his Nexon to the left and slipped off-road leaving the SUVs front tyre punctured. The Nexon went out of control and plunged into a ditch below the roadside leaving it toppled.
All passengers were safe and were reported to be safe without any critical injuries in apost on Facebook. Locals helped Mr Sreejith to get the Nexon back on its four wheels revealing an intact cabin. The Nexon crash reveals the excellent build quality of the SUV which Tata Motors has built for India.
Mr Sreejith added that no third party were injured in the accident and was happy that none of his family members was injured in the crash. Looking at the images of the Nexon crash, the SUV seems to have taken much of the impact and not transferring it to the occupants. Even the tailgate is operable revealing a solid build quality of the Tata Nexon.

The Tata Nexon is built on an "Energy absorbing body structure". The structure is fully reinforced to ensure that occupants are safe in case of an unfortunate accident like the one which happened to Mr Shreejith and his family.
Apart from the body structure, the Nexon features dual front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across all variants. The Nexon also comes with ISOFIX child seat anchorage for the safety of a child occupant.
Apart from useful safety features of the Nexon, the SUV also boasts of excellent turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. While the petrol is a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine churning out 108.5bhp and 170Nm of torque, the diesel is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine developing 108.5bhp and 260Nm of torque. Both the units come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Tata Motors is expected to launch the Nexon AMT in India at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018 to add more choices for car buyers in India.
