A Tata Nexon accident toppled the SUV after its owner Mr. Shreejith Kumar tried to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle. The owner tried to swerve his Nexon to the left and slipped off-road leaving the SUVs front tyre punctured. The Nexon went out of control and plunged into a ditch below the roadside leaving it toppled.

All passengers were safe and were reported to be safe without any critical injuries in apost on Facebook. Locals helped Mr Sreejith to get the Nexon back on its four wheels revealing an intact cabin. Mr Sreejith added that no third party were injured in the accident and was happy that none of his family members was injured in the crash. Apart from useful safety features of the Nexon, the SUV also boasts of excellent turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. While the petrol is a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine churning out 108.5bhp and 170Nm of torque, the diesel is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine developing 108.5bhp and 260Nm of torque. Both the units come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
