Tata Hexa Pulls A Boeing 737 Airplane — The Ultimate Torque Test?
Watch as a Tata Hexa tugs a Boeing 737 across the tarmac at an airport.
oi-Dennis James
The Hexa is the latest SUV from Tata Motors, which also owns SUV icon Land Rover. In the video below, the Hexa shows off its immense towing capacity by taking a page from its British subsidiary's playbook and dragging a 66-ton Boeing 737 across the tarmac at an unidentified airport.
The reason for the tugging power is Tata's trusted 2.2-litre Varicor engine which kicks out 400Nm at engine speeds as low as 1,700rpm. The ease with which the Hexa pulls the aircraft is something that needs to be seen as it will truly take your breath away.
