Now, getting back to the Sultan's cars. The Sultan of Brunei owns over 7000 cars! His car collection includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolls-Royces, Mercedes', McLarens and even some cars that are coated with 24 carat gold!

Here is a list of some of the cars in his collection with approximate numbers

Now again, this list is not the latest, so there are high possibilities the Sultan owning a few Bugattis, Porsches, and a few other exotic cars.
Some of the most notable cars in his collection are: a 24 carat gold-plated Rolls-Royce, which is one of the most expensive cars in the world, a Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, which has been converted to a right-hand drive, making it the only such example in the world.

There are even cars made by luxury carmakers such as Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, and Bentley that are made exclusively for the Sultan and don't get advertised to the public. According to a few reports, most of the cars owned by the Sultan of Brunei are 'rotting' in peace rather than resting in peace.
So, if one is now wondering where does the Sultan store all these cars, well, the answer to that is in a few aircraft hangars. There are people specially assigned to take care of the Sultan's cars.
Apart from cars, the Sultan of Brunei is interested in playing Polo, Golf, Badminton, racing cars, piloting helicopters and flying planes as well. In fact, on international trips, the Sultan flies his Boeing himself. Oh, and the Sultan enjoys what most rich people enjoy as well - a good Cigar, most preferably the Gurkha Centurian.
All this above mentioned facts could rise another question as to a man with such a car collection and interests, what kind of a house does the Sultan of Brunei live in? The answer is quite simple actually, the Sultan lives in a house that has 1,800 rooms, which is the world's largest private residence.
