Speed Car Wash By Liv India Group Plans To Double Outlets
Car wash centres are popular in international markets. In India, however, many individuals still prefer the traditional method of hand washing their vehicle. But the trend of washing a vehicle in a mall while shopping for groceries, is slowly catching on.
Now Liv India Group will be extending its outlets of its Speed Car Wash in India. They currently have 50 outlets across the nation and plan to set up 50 more by 2015 end. This goal will be achieved through the franchisee route.
They currently offer two franchises Speed Car Wash, which is a stationed car wash. The other is Cozi cars, this is a mobile car detailing concept. Liv India Group will be making a total investment of approximately INR 17,00,000. They will also be setting up a company facility, which will be spread across 1000 square feet of land.
Jasmeet Singh, Vice President Liv India Management Pvt. Ltd, commented, "Considering the population of car owners of India, there is a huge requirement of car wash centers here. Mechanized car cleaning system is already a USD 5.97 billion business in US with more than 14,414 successful outlets and in India it is just at the threshold of picking up."
He further added, "The average annual revenue of Speed Car Wash franchisee centre is approximately Rs. 36 lakhs and can be achieved by doing 15 to 20 cars a day, with several services priced between Rs. 300 - 3,500."
The company set their first car wash outlet in 2011 in the city of Ludhiana. They had imported car washing equipment from Italy. LIV India Group believes that India will be the biggest market for vehicles by 2025. The nation already has 35 million vehicles plying the roads.
