Bugatti Veyron For Charity Auction By Simon Cowell
This weekend is the launch date of the yearly organised Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is the 43rd edition of the auction, the company has prepared a series of special vehicles to be auctioned. All auction proceedings will be in benefit of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
A 2008 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 which is owned by Simon Cowell is all so up for grabs. Cowell had bought the Veyron in 2008, which back then was the fastest street-legal vehicle in America. Both these factors make the car even more special than its true self.
Simon Cowell owns the standard 16.4 model, which is powered by a 8.0-liter, quad-turbocharged, W-16 engine. It delivers a staggering 1,001 horsepower and produces 911 of torque. 2.46 seconds is all the time the Supercar requires to go from 0-60 mph and a top speed of 252 mph is achieved in little to no effort.
The car has been driven for just 1,300 miles and importantly always Cowell in the drivers seat. The car comes in a custom black paint with all black interior. Very few Veyrons were offered in American and even few in this specification. The car has a one year extended factory warranty, which is offered directly by Bugatti.
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 was launched in 2005. Produced continued up until 2011, after which the Grand Sport version replaced it.
