Half Of Britain Has Got Intimate In A Car
A recent survey conducted by British car remanufacturer BBA Reman has found that 49 percent of Britons have got intimate in a car at least once in their life. The survey has also shed some light on a few interesting facts. One such fact is, most of the cars named in the survey are compact cars. Not what one would expect.
BBA Reman surveyed 2,018 adults and it turned out that of the 49 percent who said yes to the question, 59 percent were aged between 35 and 55 years. In contrast, only 38 percent were aged between 18 and 34.
These figures show that the number of people getting intimate in a car has actually come down over the years. Something, Chris Swan, founder of BBA Reman also specified. "It seems that the high number of older adults admitting to engaging in sexual activities in their cars highlights a generation gap." He added, "nowadays, it is much more acceptable for younger unmarried couples to share a bed compared to twenty or thirty years ago when they had to sneak away for some fun."
In addition, participants were also asked about the place they most often engaged in in-car action. You will be surprised to know (or, maybe not) that ‘in a moving car' was also named by a few people, but thankfully, only 3 percent. The other favourite places were viewpoint (37%), car park (29%) and driveway (22%).
