This Rolls-Royce Cullinan By Delta 4x4 Is The Ultimate Off-Roading Toy

German tuner Delta 4x4 has revealed a modified off-roading version of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. The off-roading Rolls-Royce Cullinan by Delta 4x4 is a special project for a customer who lives in the Arabian Peninsula.
The German tuning company has taken a 'regular' Rolls-Royce Cullinan and given it a host of off-roading bits which in total add up to €150,000 (Rs 1.23 Crore). So what exactly are these off-roading bits?
Delta 4x4's offroading kit includes 10 PIAA spotlights mounted to the modified Cullinan - 6 on the custom bull bar (which costs €3900/ Rs 3.2 lakh) and 4 on the roof rack. The custom bull bar gives more protection to the front end of the Roll-Royce SUV.
Delta 4x4 has fabricated custom front and rear wheel arch extensions for this modified Cullinan. These custom fabricated parts cost €14,000 (Rs 1.23 lakh) and have been added to hold the custom Cullinan's bonkers wheels and tyres. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan sports custom bead-lock 20-inch wheels which come fitted with Mickey Thompson off-roading tyres that cost €15,000 a set (Rs 1.56 lakh).
Delta 4x4 has also fitted the custom Cullinan with an 80mm (3.15-inch) lift kit. The lifted kit along with the off-roading tyres means that the modified Cullinan sits 5.9-inches (150mm) higher to the ground compared to the SUV you'd see in the showroom. The lift kit costs another €5000 (Rs 4.12 lakh).
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan by Delta 4x4 also features a brand new exhaust system which the company say will be homologated for Europe. The company claims that the new exhaust system is suitable for passing through 'deep water' and for underbody protection. Another option is a snorkel system which helps with the passage of the previously mentioned stretches of deep water.
Other changes include a tent fitted to the Cullinan's €8000 (Rs 6.6 lakhs) roof rack that Delta 4x4 claims can carry shovels, sand sheets and water canisters among other things.
Despite featuring a new exhaust system that improves the engine note and performance of the SUV, Delta 4x4 hasn't revealed anything about any changes done to the engine of the Cullinan SUV.
In the stock Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged engine produces 563bhp at 5,000rpm and 850Nm of peak torque at just 1,600rpm. This engine propels the stock Cullinan from 0-100km in just 4.8 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 250km/h.
Thoughts On The Custom Rolls-Royce by Delta 4x4
Delta 4x4's has decided to switch up its game with the custom Cullinan. The German custom house has gone to town on the Cullinan to make it more suited to tougher off-roading conditions. While some may recoil at looking at this off-roading lunatic, it does seem to be the perfect off-roading toy for the most elite of the elite.
