Rohit Sharma Caught Speeding At More Than 200km/h – Check Out All The Details Here
The Mumbai-Pune Expressway was opened back in 2002 and covers a distance of 94 kilometres. This piece of Tarmac is notorious for high-speed car users.
Though the Mumbai-Pune Expressway has managed to reduce the travel time between the two biggest cities in India, many people have been injured and lost their lives due to high speed and rash driving.

Now, according to the latest report by Pune Mirror, Indian Cricket Team Captain, Rohit Sharma has been issued multiple fines for speeding on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. In fact, three fines were slapped on Rohit Sharma for speeding by traffic police officials.
Reports suggest that Rohit Sharma was travelling at speeds beyond 200km/h in his Lamborghini Urus super SUV. It is even speculated that the incident happened on Monday or Tuesday, earlier this week.

Lamborghini Urus
Speaking about the Lamborghini Urus, the super SUV is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. Furthermore, this engine sends power to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to this powertrain setup, the Lamborghini Urus super SUV is capable of hitting 100km/h from a standstill in around 3.5 seconds, and reaching a top speed of more than 300km/h.

Legality
With such performance figures, while the 200km/h speed may not even seem like breaking a sweat in the Lamborghini Urus, in reality, doing such speeds on Indian roads is very dangerous and it is illegal to do so.
Bad Example
The role of the Indian Cricket team Captain comes with a huge responsibility on and off the field. Even the smallest gesture outside the field is noted and discussed. Also, many young minds look up and absorb even the smallest actions.
As such, speeding on public roads does not set a good example for youngsters in India. In fact, this could give wrong information to the public and the young kids in the country.
