Mahindra Thar Driver Teaches Reckless KSRTC Bus About Road Safety

On Indian roads, it is common to see drivers violating traffic rules. Even some drivers of government buses are not exempt from this. In the past, there have been many road accidents involving government bus drivers who violated traffic rules.

Sometimes, government bus drivers overtake in a very dangerous way.One such incident shows a car driver teaching a government bus driver a lesson for his reckless overtaking attempt.

Thar Driver Blocks Reckless KSRTC Bus

This incident, which has garnered much attention, reportedly took place in the state of Kerala. There, a government bus driver attempted to overtake other vehicles by entering the opposite lane. However, the driver of a Mahindra Thar SUV refused to yield, preventing the bus from overtaking.

This viral video is currently spreading rapidly on social media platforms. The video, recorded on the Mahindra Thar SUV's dashboard camera, has been uploaded to YouTube and shared by many on social media.

In the viral video, we see the Mahindra Thar SUV traveling on a narrow road. At that time, a bus belonging to the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) approaches from the opposite direction.

The bus driver then attempts to overtake the vehicles in front of him. We can see him enter the opposite lane and attempt to overtake.

This created a problem for the Mahindra Thar SUV driver, as it was his lane. Therefore, he did not yield to the bus. Instead, he stopped his Mahindra Thar SUV, preventing the bus from proceeding further.

As a result, the bus was unable to move forward. However, it seems the bus driver had no intention of returning to his lane. Both of them stopped their vehicles, with the car driver refusing to yield and the bus driver refusing to return to his lane.

As a result, the two vehicles remained immobile for some time. In this battle, the Mahindra Thar SUV driver ultimately emerged victorious.

As he refused to yield, after a while, we see the bus driver slowly turn the steering wheel towards his lane. The video ends here, so it is unclear what happened next.

When attempting to overtake, it is essential to pay close attention to oncoming vehicles. Only then should one overtake. This is the basic principle of overtaking. If vehicles are coming from the opposite direction, do not overtake under any circumstances.

As far as the incident in Kerala is concerned, we believe that the bus driver must have seen the Mahindra Thar SUV coming in the opposite direction. However, he continued his overtaking attempt without giving up. Such actions can lead to road accidents.

In our opinion, the bus driver should have returned to his lane as soon as he saw the Mahindra Thar SUV in the opposite direction. However, by not doing so, he wasted his own time as well as the time of all the bus passengers. We are happy that no road accident occurred!
