Road Rage In India: Video Of A Man On Top Of A Running Car Becomes Viral!

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: A road rage video from India becomes viral on various social media platforms. In the video, a man can be seen clinging on to his dear life on top of a running car, amidst the Ghaziabad night traffic.

The shocking road rage incident happened last week at around 7 PM. 35-year-old Pitampura resident, Rajesh Diwan had to brace himself on top of a speeding Maruti Zen Estilo (discontinued) for almost six kilometres. Viewers of the viral road rage video are left bewildered as to how the man ended up on top of a running car.

As per reports, Rajesh was at Ghaziabad to meet his friend. While at a traffic signal in Sahibabad, his Maruti Dzire was rear-ended by the Zen Estilo. Rajesh lost his cool and immediately got out to confront the driver, who tried to drive off after backing the car.

Rajesh got back in his car and chased down the Estilo near Raj Nagar Extension, further continuing the road rage. He again tried to go face-to-face with the driver, Bhuwan Kumar Sharma, a 30-year-old legal practitioner. However, rather than at least starting a heated conversation, Bhuwan throttled the car and tried to mow Rajesh down. Upon doing so, Rajesh had no other option than to climb on the Estilo's bonnet.

Still, Bhuwan had no intention to stop the car, but drove off with Rajesh on the bonnet. With the Estilo climbing to speeds up to almost 80km/h, Rajesh managed to climb on the car's roof and grip his arms across the sides of the car.

He shouted at the top of his voice to get the attention of other road users and, of course, to make Bhuwan stop the car. The entire road rage ordeal was recorded on a smartphone camera and the video became viral.

Finally, a traffic jam at Meerut helped Rajesh. Bhuwan was pulled out, beaten and handed over to the cops by the locals. An FIR was registered soon after and a long list of charges was booked.

Road rages come in many forms and some of them instantly manage to circulate around the internet. As for this particular road rage in India, the video would've had ended badly if it wasn't for Rajesh's luck.
