Rishabh Pant Miraculously Escapes From Car Crash – Health Update, Cause & More
India's wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant miraculously escaped a car crash on the Delhi-Dehradun highway near Uttarakhand's Roorkee while he was returning from home.
Diving into details, Pant was driving the car himself and rammed the car into the road divider as he fell asleep behind the wheel. As result, he suffered injuries to his forehead, back and legs.
According to the latest reports, Pant's condition is now stable and is currently undergoing further treatment at the Max Hospital in Dehradun. Moreover, according to Dr Ashish Yagnik, Pant is under evaluation and a team of doctors are attending him. He also added that a few more tests also need to be conducted before anything more can be said.
However, Dr Ashish Yagnik was quick to point out that Pant's condition is stable and there is nothing much to be worried related to his overall health condition. Additionally, BCCI has said that it will ensure Pant receives the "best possible" medical treatment and get all the support Pant needs to come out of the "Traumatic Phase".
According to the police, Pant's car met with an accident near Mohammadpur Jat which comes under the Mangalore Police station area in Haridwar district at around 5.30 am. After that, Mr Pant was rushed to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee by 108 Ambulance and the local police.
Additionally, sources have also confirmed that Mr Rishabh Pant was driving the car himself and he reportedly lost control of the car and hit the divider. Also, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe SUV involved in the accident caught on fire and was charred within a few minutes.

Despite the high-speed car crash, Rishabh Pant escaped with just a few minor burn injuries. That being said, this particular accident proves the importance of structural safety in cars. However, Mercedes-Benz still needs to enquire the reason behind the fire that was caused in the accident to prevent such instances from happening again.
