Howler: Video Of Rich Kid Using A Maltese Puppy To Clean A Supercar Causes Outrage
Instagram user Rich Kids of London has caused outrage amongst animal lovers after it posted a video showing a Maltese puppy being used to clean a supercar.
The Rich Kids Of London Instagram is quite familiar with controversy. Last year, the group posted a video of them burning a Mercedes G-Wagen because 'the owners were bored'.
However, one of the latest videos posted by the group has sent the world of animal lovers into a frenzied rage as it shows a wealthy Londoner apparently using a tiny Maltese puppy to clean a Maserati MC12 supercar (basically a Ferrari Enzo with a Maserati body bolted on).
The animal welfare community has erupted in anger over the video, which is captioned "The only way to wash the iconic 6.0-litre #MaseratiMC12 is with 100 per cent natural puppy fur ensuring a proper polish."
However, the dog's owner and the person who claimed to have taken the video has commented stating that the puppy (named Hero) was not in distress and was in fact happy. She went on to state, "I'm so sorry that you have no sense of humour, if you know a better car cleaning method let me know but he's a working dog and we have a shiny car so all is good."
