RevFin Services, the rapidly growing digital lending platform in India, is proud to celebrate the impressive progress of women from Tier 2 and 3 cities in the country. These women have shown great interest in obtaining loans for electric vehicles (EVs) while promoting gender equality.
On Women Equality Day, we acknowledge that women have the potential to earn as much as men and break through any barriers. Data from different states reveals that talented and empowered women make up a significant 24% of the EV industry in Tier 2 and 3 markets. Bihar and Uttar Pradesh lead the way with over 5500 women availing loans.

RevFin's latest report highlights how EV financing has empowered women across various states. For example, Uttarakhand has seen 550 women secure loans, while Jharkhand stands at an impressive 362.
One inspiring story comes from Priya Verma, a remarkable woman from Haridwar who took control of her life during lockdown. Previously working as a security guard, she obtained an E-rickshaw loan from RevFin.
With consistent earnings of INR 20,000 or more, Priya now enjoys flexibility, work-life balance, and improved living standards. Her success has inspired other women to consider driving E-rickshaws and gain empowerment along the way.
Sameer Aggarwal, CEO and Founder of RevFin, shared his insights on the report stating: "It is truly commendable to witness the incredible rise of women hailing from tier 2 & 3 cities. By embracing opportunities for EV financing, they are not only contributing financially but also taking charge as breadwinners in their households."

Mr. Aggarwal added, "These extraordinary women face unique challenges when accessing loans for empowerment. At Revfin, our seamless loan process serves as a beacon of support by providing them with the financial resources they deserve. Together we pave a path where their potential thrives and their families prosper. Let us celebrate their unwavering determination as they shine brightly, illuminating a brighter tomorrow."
