Red Bull Goes Drifting In China's Tianmenshan Mountains
Red Bull gives us new reasons to love it on a regular basis. The Australian energy drink company has been the name behind several things which we generalize as awesome. You know what we are talking about.
The latest awesome thing from Red Bull comes to us from China in the form of a car drift competition. While drifting is cool by itself, with the Red Bull tag associated with it you already know it's going to be a lot more than cool.
Recently Red Bull arranged a drift battle between Hong Kong based Red Bull drifter James Tang and Italian driver Federico Sceriffo from Team Orange Japan. What makes this so much better is the course - China's spectacular looking Tianmenshan Mountains, which consists of exactly 99 curves.
With a score of 96.5 out of 100, clocking a top speed of about 170 km/h, Federico Sceriffo won the drift duel, taking the title of "Tianmenshan Mountain Drift King." You can watch the amazing video below.
