Ratan Tata Examines Shantanu's New Tata Safari SUV
Indian automobile giant Tata recently unveiled its 2023 facelift versions of the best-selling Harrier and Safari. Just like the pre-facelift versions, the new models have caught the eyes of automobile enthusiasts and buyers alike.
One of the proud owners of the new Tata Safari is Shantanu Naidu, Manager to Ratan Tata and founder of Goodfellows. Interestingly, Ratan Tata himself was seen examining Shantanu’s new SUV.
Shantanu Naidu's Safari Experience
Shantanu Naidu, a familiar face with Ratan Tata and a general manager at his office, purchased his Tata Safari during Dussehra this year. Shantanu, who was formerly driving a Tata Nano, shared his experience of owning the new Safari.
The new SUV, named 'Yuki’, is an 'Accomplished Plus' top-end variant which Shantanu has already driven for almost 1,000 kilometres. The unique design and the distinctiveness of the Safari facelift were the main attractions for Shantanu.
Ratan Tata Checking Out The New Safari
Shantanu praised the performance of the Safari on highways, its comfortable ride, and its excellent power output. He found the Sport mode extremely aggressive and appreciated the unique look of the 19-inch alloy wheels. However, he also pointed out the need for improvements in certain areas.
For instance, the gloss black interior is prone to scratches, and some of the ADAS features are annoying. Notwithstanding these minor issues, Shantanu is extremely pleased with his purchase, as seen from the pictures shared online.
