Rahul Gandhi Rides To Ladakh On A KTM 390 Adventure Motorcycle – Here’s Everything You Need To Know
Indian politics has been heating up for the upcoming general elections. Rahul Gandhi's name has been resonating in the political arena with a vigour that has not been seen before.
However, in this tense situation, Rahul Gandhi seems to have decided to cool his head with a bike ride to Ladakh. He even visited the famous Pangong Lake on Saturday.
Rahul Gandhi even shared a few images from his trip to Ladakh through Instagram and wrote, "On our way to Pangong lake, which my father used to say, is one of the most beautiful places in the world."
That being said, the bike he used to ride to Ladakh was the KTM 390 Adventure. Moreover, we expect the model to be the variant to be the standard model rather than the more basic 'X' variant or the more hardcore 'SW' variant.
Speaking about the KTM 390 Adventure, this motorcycle uses a tried-and-tested 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 42.3bhp and 37Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
Some of the noticeable features include Traction Control with 3-D IMU, quickshifter, cornering ABS, multiple ride modes (street & offroad), Offroad ABS, ride-by-wire, LED Headlamps, slipper clutch, a 5-inch colour TFT-display and more.
In terms of suspension, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle includes a fully adjustable AP Apex front and rear suspension. In terms of pricing, the standard model is priced at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
That being said, there is also a more affordable 'X' variant of the KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle. To achieve such aggressive pricing, KTM has removed a host of electronics including traction, quick shifter, and cornering ABS.
In terms of hardware, the new KTM 390 Adventure X motorcycle remains identical to the standard KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle including chassis, suspension, brakes, powertrain and body panels.
In terms of pricing, the KTM 390 Adventure X motorcycle continues to be priced at Rs 2.81 lakh (ex-showroom) - This makes the motorcycle a very tempting choice for those who are looking to upgrade their current motorcycle without breaking the bank.
