Cops Seize Golden Maserati Driven By Learner — Owner Forgot One Very Important Set Of Papers
.The London Metropolitan Police has seized a gold Maserati Gran Cabrio, in the Kingston area of West London, after the learner who was driving the car forgot to insure the car.
A basic version of the Maserati can cost up to £100,000 (Rs. 87.86 lakh), but we figure this gold-wrapped would have cost the chap a few extra quid, for the blinding bling wrap.
According to a spokesperson for the Kingston Police, the driver of the car was pulled over by the because officers thought the car seemed very expensive for a learner to be driving. The Maserati was impounded by the cops on the suspicion of it having no insurance.
The owner of the blinged out Maserati has been summoned to court and will face a minimum fine of £300 (Rs. 26371.55) and will have six penalty points added to his driving license for the next four years.
If the driver gets six more penalty points added to his/her license in the next six months, he/she will be banned for 6 months from driving. This would also mean that the driver will have to get a new license, which will cost an additional £124 (Rs. 10,898) to £150 (Rs. 13,178).
