In a horrific accident in Noida, a Police Control Room (PCR) car rear-ended a motorcycle and fled the spot. The incident took place in Sector 11, Noida on March 19, 2017. And the whole accident was captured on a CCTV camera.
The PCR car, a Toyota Innova was speeding, and rear-ended a Royal Enfield Thunderbird. The rider and pillion were thrown up in the air for 10 to 20 metres. The police vehicle stopped at the spot for a few seconds and then fled from the spot.

Taking a closer look at the photos of the Innova, it seems that the rider was smashed into the windshield of the car. The bonnet of the Innova is also crumpled indicating the high-speed collision.

The PCR van is a part of ‘UP-100' formerly called as Dial 100 launched in Uttar Pradesh in 2016. The UP-100 is an emergency service system which ensures that the Police reaches any spot within 15 minutes.

But in this case, the cops have fled the spot in seconds. The residents of the locality rushed to the spot and helped the victims. Both the victims were admitted to a nearby hospital. The victims were identified as Aditya and Anoop, and their condition is said to be critical.

An FIR has been registered and the occupants of the PCR have been booked under section 279 (rash driving) and section 337 (causing hurt).
