Brothers Set New Parallel Parking Guinness Record
We have seen car parallel parking videos on TV and know how notoriously tough it is to achieve. The Guinness World Record for the tightest parallel parking measured an absurdly small 150 mm (5.91 in) and was held by Han Yue from China. That's right, it was held because that record has now been broken by two brothers from the United Kingdom. The car used set the record is a Mini Mayfair.
The new record stands at 131 mm (5.16 in) and was set by John Moffatt, which was later equalled by his brother Alastair Moffatt. The distance measured is the gap between the car to the front and rear of the parked car. The record attempt, which was featured in the "Officially Amazing" TV show, shows the number of attempts it took to get it right. You can view the entertaining video below.
