The statement that India is the most diverse country in the world has become a cliche. Nevertheless, it remains a fact. A fact we all are proud of and do not mind repeating. While the diversity in population, culture, tradition, food, cloths are well known to us, one should also realize how vast and varied the Indian automotive scene has become in the past 67 years.

Our country now boasts of more than a dozen Indian automobile companies, spread across every auto segment imaginable. We have Tata Motors, Maruti, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra, Hero Motorcorp and many more. Indian car companies have reached newer heights, are well recognised world wide and even own some of the most prestigious foreign brands.
