Ola's Adorable Dog Employee Taking Over Hearts - Meet 'Bijlee'

Ola Electric took the Indian EV market by storm and made big waves as the undisputed market leader. They're not just another player; they're revolutionising the game with their eco-friendly and futuristic electric vehicles.

The electric scooter company that caught everyone's attention with its remarkable products is back in the news, but this time for something unexpected. Ola has made a unique addition to its team by hiring a new employee, and you won't believe who it is - a dog!

On Sunday, co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal announced the latest addition to their team, a dog named 'Bijlee', which means 'electricity' in English. Aggarwal introduced Bijlee on X (Twitter) and shared a picture of the dog's official ID, which was given by the electric vehicle manufacturer CEO.

The dog's employee code is '440 V,' which cleverly refers to the standard voltage in electrical systems. The card also humorously mentions Bijlee's blood group as 'paw+ve,' making a playful pun on the word 'paw.'

Human colleagues can contact the dog using Slack, an instant messaging platform used for internal communications by many professional organisations. Interestingly, Bijlee's emergency contact is listed as BA's office, likely referring to the initials of Bhavish Aggarwal, the co-founder of the company.

The address mentioned on the card belongs to Ola Electric's office on Hosur road, which suggests that Bijlee is a member of the Koramangala workplace. Several users expressed their happiness about meeting Bijlee and shared their excitement in the comments.

This is not the first time the co-founder of the ridesharing company has posted about dogs at his workplace. In February of this year, Aggarwal shared a picture on X (Twitter) showing three dogs peacefully sleeping on sofas inside the Ola office.

Ola recently made the S1 Air available for purchase, and the response has been beyond their expectations. Within just a few hours of its launch, they managed to sell over 3,000 units of the Ola S1 Air.

The electric scooter has a 3kWh battery pack that provides power to the hub motor, capable of generating about 4.5kW of power. Ola states that it can travel up to 125km on a full charge. It takes approximately 5 hours to charge the battery completely.

Thoughts On Ola's New Employee

Ola's new employee, a dog named 'Bijlee', is quite an interesting addition to the team. It's heartwarming to see a company embracing a pet-friendly work environment and recognizing the importance of animals in our lives.
