Ola Provides Boats In Flood Hit Chennai

Ola, the personal transportation app is providing help to flood hit Chennai in the form of boats manned by professional rowers and fishermen.

The boats are manned by two rowers and have enough umbrellas for the use of five to nine people. The boats are being used to evacuate people in highly waterlogged areas to safer places. They are also being used to provide food and drinking water to areas that are short of essential supplies. Ola is providing both services free of charge.
