BMW M Vehicles Zoom Into Spotlight At MotoGP Bharat Event
BMW M automobiles and motorcycles have been selected as the official safety vehicles for MotoGP Bharat's inaugural event in India. Four new safety vehicles, including three cars and one motorcycle, have shown up at MotoGP Bharat.
The BMW M2, BMW M3 Touring, BMW M5 CS, and BMW M 1000 RR are on duty to ensure the smooth flow of the event, including during practices, qualifying sessions, and races. BMW Group India's President, Vikram Pawah, expressed excitement over the premiere of MotoGP in India.
He elaborated that this first-of-a-kind event offers motorsports enthusiasts a chance to see the BMW M Safety Vehicles in action, in addition to their favourite racetrack superstars. He also spoke about a promising experience awaiting BMW Excellence Club members, comprising of superior hospitality, racetrack laps in BMW M MotoGP Safety Vehicles, and an exhilarating MotoGP Bharat weekend.
BMW Excellence Club members can anticipate a weekend full of excitement, with plentiful opportunities to see MotoGP from the thick of the action. The BMW M visitor program provides an exclusive glimpse into the behind-the-scenes action, with the possibility of meeting MotoGP riders and motorsports legends.
It also offers top-notch hospitality services, strategic viewpoints to watch the race, guided paddock tours, and special interactions with pit lane mechanics. The highlight of the program is the chance to experience a lap on the racetrack, as a passenger in a BMW M Safety Car.
Boasting the standard features of a high-performance sports car and cutting-edge technology, the new BMW M2 clearly impresses. This vehicle has been equipped with a variety of safety car elements including a roll bar, RECARO seats, a 6-point racing harness, a fire extinguisher, and a safety car roof bar.
The first-ever BMW M3 Competition Touring has been transformed into a MotoGP Safety Car. The vehicle, featuring a special 50 Years of BMW M Livery, is a homage to BMW M's fifty years and the longstanding partnership with MotoGP.
Sporting a distinctive Frozen Deep Green metallic finish, the BMW M5 CS safety car carries a classic yet evocative safety car look. This vehicle stands out for its high-performance engine, well-coordinated with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
Optimized in the wind tunnel and further refined on the circuit, the new BMW M 1000 RR MotoGP Safety Bike is adeptly prepared for its racetrack duties. The bike symbolizes sheer performance and unprecedented attention to detail.
