The Novitec Lamborghini Urus Performante Esteso Is A Devilishly Unhinged Super SUV
German tuning firm Novitec has got its hands on the Lamborghini Urus Performante and the results are as mad as you expected with the modified SUV sporting some seriously big upgrades.
The transformation of the Urus Performante into the Novitec Lamborghini Urus Performante Esteso sees the super SUV gain a healthy power boost as well as a widebody kit that is as mad as they come.
Let's talk about the changes under the bonnet first. The 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine of the Urus Performante has been fitted with Novitec's N-Tronic control module, as well as a new stainless steel performance exhaust system.
The result of these changes is an increase in output from 657bhp and 850Nm to 771bhp and a tyre-shredding 1,032Nm of peak torque. This has resulted in the 0-100km/h time dropping to 3.1 seconds (faster by 0.2s) while the top speed rises to 311km/h (up by 5km/h).
The performance exhaust on the Novitec Lamborghini Urus Performante Esteso can be specified with butterfly valves. When fully open, the new exhaust allows the Novitec Esteso's engine to vent its glorious fury at the world.
Other mechanical changes include a set of sports springs that lower the ground clearance by 25mm. The Novitec-tuned Urus Performante rides on new 23-inch centre-lock wheels co-developed by Vossen and Novitec, which come wrapped in 285/35 (front) and 325/30 (rear) wheels.
In addition to the mechanical changes, the Novitec Urus Performante sports a widebody kit made from PUR-Rim. The kit increases the width of the super SUV by 10cm at the front and 12cm at the rear. Among the changes the new kit brings are a new bonnet, new side skirts, a more aggressive rear diffuser, a roof-mounted spoiler and quad tailpipes for the exhaust among others.
The interior also sports new upholstery that can be specified in a host of different materials that can be had in an array of colours. Other highlights include contrast stitching along with Lamborghini and Novitec logos in the same colour.
