How About A Ferrari Branded Racetrack, On A Ship?
A cruise ship, called the Norwegian Joy will have the first of its kind Ferrari Branded racetrack on the top level of the ship.
You heard right. A Norwegian Cruise Line's (NCL) new Norwegian Joy, will be the first ship in the world to have a racetrack, that too, branded by Ferrari. The ship will sail in China and will be the first of its kind.
Norwegian Joy will partner with Scuderia Ferrari Watches to build the go-kart track, which will be the first branded racetrack. The ship has a capacity to carry 3,850 passengers and will set sail in Shanghai on June 27 and will anchor in Tianjin.
The racetrack will be located on the top level of the ship, giving the drivers a view of the sea from every angle. The two-level track will feature ten electric go-karts.
Other features aboard the ship will include open-air laser tag course, hovercraft bumper cars, multi-story water slides, and the largest ever shopping venue.
The ship, Norwegian Joy, was previously named Norwegian Bliss and is being built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. Just for the record, the Norwegian Joy has five main engines with total output power of 102,900 hp.
