Nissan Stumps Competitors As ICC World Cup 2023 Sponsor: Special Edition Magnite SUV Unveiled
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will continue its long-standing association with Nissan for an 8th year as Nissan steps up as the Official sponsor for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.
This eagerly awaited tournament is to be held in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023, and the Official car of the World Cup will be the strikingly Big, Bold, Beautiful Nissan Magnite.
In honour of its relationship with the ICC, and to usher in the thrilling cricket season, Nissan Motor India has unveiled the new Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition SUV for the Indian market.
Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India expressed his delight at the continued association with all ICC tournaments. He announced that it was a proud moment for Nissan to reveal the Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition, which marks their 8th consecutive year of collaboration. The firm plans to stage various activities to indulge millions of cricket aficionados in their cricket passion, particularly in India where cricket is much celebrated.
As the Official partner, Nissan will actively boost the profile of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, through its on-ground initiatives across the country, and by displaying its Nissan car at the stadium.
In a significant drive to support the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, Nissan is further endorsing the Trophy Tour, which is currently making its way through numerous Indian cities.
By presenting a 3D trophy in malls, Nissan is designing an innovative fan engagement moment which will let fans take 360-degree pictures with the World Cup trophy. During the Trophy tour, the ICC World Cup Nissan Magnite will make an appearance, and fans can click selfies with the car and potentially win tickets.
Nissan Magnite now hosts a range of safety features as standard across all models, such as Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The model also boasts a 4-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
It is also worth mentioning that the Nissan Magnite SUV is now shipped to 15 global markets. This includes Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and more.
