Nissan GT-R GT3 Racer Overtakes 17 Cars In A Lap
If you follow motorsport racing you know that overtaking maneuvres do not happen as much as we want to these days. So, when a Nissan GT-R GT3 racer overtakes 17 cars in the very first lap, it becomes an overnight sensation.
This Godzilla, No. 80, driven by Nissan GT Academy RJN team driver Alex Buncombe at the 2014 Blancpain Endurance series in Monza, Italy did not start from the most ideal position.
The GT-R GT3 racer started at position 32 in a grid containing 44 cars. But Buncombe and his car soon made up for it by quickly overtaking an incredible 17 cars by the time the first lap was done. In fact, the first 13 cars were overtaken in just 40 seconds.
During the race Buncombe managed to reach the 11th position, but ended the race at 13th, which is certainly not bad considering where he started from.
