MS Dhoni's Hummer Blocked By Obsessed Fangirl — Here's What happened
The fan blocked MS Dhoni's Hummer in the hope of clicking a selfie or at least get an autograph from the ex-captain of the Indian Cricket team.
MS Dhoni's stature typically has a lot fans all across the country. The enthusiasm around the ex-captain of the Indian Cricket team is magnified whenever he comes to his hometown Ranchi.
One fan, in particular, grabbed all the attention as MS Dhoni sat in his SUV, the fan stood in front the car and blocked his way. The cricketer requested her to move away; however, the girl was not ready to listen.
Expecting to have her 'fangirl' moment ultimately, the girl required an autograph and selfies from MS Dhoni. The fan had followed MS Dhoni from New Delhi to Kolkata. It is learnt that the fan even on the plane, she kept on striving to meet the cricketer.
As per Deccan Chronicle, "A brief scuffle that broke out outside the airport, the fan's handbag fell to the ground, as Dhoni's Hummer ran over it, it has been learnt. Dhoni craned his neck outside his car, to make sure everything was ok."
The cricketer's Hummer has drawn the attention of fans, but it has also attracted his fellow cricketers as well. In 2016, when the New Zealand cricket team was touring India, star cricketers Tom Lathan and Ross Taylor were seen looking on in wonder, as MS Dhoni drove past the New Zealand team bus in his Hummer, in Ranchi.
MS Dhoni is known for his love for cars and bikes; this particular Hummer is the H2 priced at Rs. 75 lakh which he purchased it in 2009. It is very unfortunate that the H2 is no longer being made after the Hummer brand was closed down by General Motors.
