MotoGP Bharat City Tour: Ahmedabad Witnesses True Biking Passion
Ahmedabad, a vibrant and historic city, was the next stop on the multi-city tour of MotoGP Bharat. The event took place at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) campus and attracted around 500 riders who came to celebrate their love for biking and welcome MotoGP Bharat's debut in India.
The bikers explored various landmarks in the city before gathering at the IIM campus. There, they were treated to breathtaking bike stunts and a musical performance by the talented IIM band. The crowd was left in awe as expert bikers showcased their daring tricks and skills on their bikes.

This city has a rich history of hosting iconic sports events, and we feel privileged to be at the IIM Campus - a hub for passionate sports enthusiasts," said Sushant Srivastava, Managing Director and Head of City Tours at FairStreet Sport, the Indian promoters of MotoGP.
The ride not only displayed the enthusiasm and energy of Ahmedabad's biking community but also included contests like Fresh Face and Motofluencer to select lucky winners who will have an opportunity to witness the Indian edition of the race live at Buddh International Circuit in Uttar Pradesh.
Furthermore, this event aimed to promote MotoGP Bharat's race philosophy of "Roads are for riding" and "Tracks are for racing." It encouraged young riders to embrace this global phenomenon while fostering strong bonds within Ahmedabad's biking fraternity.
MotoGP Bharat also emphasized its mission to celebrate and support female riders from all over India. This message resonated with women participants during interactions at the event. Excitement filled the air as participants eagerly competed in contests like Fresh Face and Motofluencer organized during this thrilling occasion. Red Bull added fuel to their excitement as they served as the official energy drink partner for this event.
Next on MotoGP Bharat's agenda is the host state, Uttar Pradesh. Bike enthusiasts from Ahmedabad and other cities will join the caravan as it continues its journey across the country.
The grand finale will take place in Delhi on the race weekend in September, where participants will ride to the iconic Buddh International Circuit for the highly anticipated race from September 22-24, 2023.
