Pikes Peak is an international hill climb event for automobiles. It is considered as one of the oldest road races in the United States of America. It is normally used as a highway, however, every year it is closed and speed enthusiasts from all over the world attempt the feat.
Nobuhiro 'Monster' Tajima has set the fastest time across the circuit in his electric vehicle. In 2014 he returns to Pikes Peak for his 26th attempt, he wants to break his own record. The veteran claims no matter what he will return for two more years as in 2016, it will be its centenary celebration.
Monster Tajima uses the same electric vehicle, however, he faces a few troubles along the way. Have a look at the video shot by a GoPro, it almost looks game like. They are providing split times and a speedometer, along with an altitude meter.
The video of Monster Tajima attempting to break his own Pikes Peak record is below. We won't reveal to you what happens, you need to see it to believe it.
