From Wicket Strikes to Engine Roars: Mohammed Shamis Dual Love!
Our very own cricket sensation, Mohammed Shami, has been making headlines for both his noteworthy cricketing skills and his penchant for fine vehicles. Being a cricketer of national fame and a car enthusiast is a combination that has gathered him a lot of attention among cricket fans and car lovers alike.
Shami, who recently played an outstanding innings in the semi-final match against New Zealand, secured a whopping seven wickets, including the dismissal of Daryl Mitchell, New Zealand's top scorer of the match.

However, it's not just Shami's cricketing prowess that's causing a buzz. A photograph shared by Shami, exhibiting his two splendid rides - the Jaguar F Type and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, has been gaining quite the traction.
The first photograph shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) showcases Shami standing proudly next to his Jaguar F Type. This two-door sports car, a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model imported from England, was purchased by Shami a year ago. It's equipped with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder supercharged petrol engine capable of producing 295bhp and peak torque of 400 Nm.
The car comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and can reach a top speed of 249 km/h, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 5.7 seconds. The price of this exquisite ride ranges from Rs 99.98 lakh to Rs 1.53 crore, ex-showroom. Jaguar also offers a more powerful version of the F Type equipped with a 5.0 litre V8 supercharged engine.
Shami also owns a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, a motorcycle that is quite popular among young riders. This motorcycle, available in the Mister Chrome variant, is powered by a 647cc, parallel twin-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that can generate 47 Bhp and a peak torque of 52 Nm.

Currently, the price of a brand new Royal Enfield Continental GT starts at Rs 3.18 lakh and goes up to Rs 3.44 lakh for the high-end variant, ex-showroom. It's worth noting that Shami likely purchased this bike at a lower price.
Returning to the cricket field, Shami's recent performance has been nothing short of record-breaking. He became the first Indian bowler to claim 50 wickets in an ODI World Cup and the fastest bowler to reach this milestone. He also set a record for the most number of five-wicket hauls in a single World Cup edition, having taken 5 or more wickets in three World Cup matches.
Shami set yet another record for the most number of wickets taken by an Indian in a single ODI World Cup edition, surpassing the previous record of 21 wickets set by Zaheer Khan in the 2011 World Cup.
