Microsoft Connected Vehicle Platform — Will It Change The Future Of Cars?
Microsoft aims to bring a change in the way vehicles manufactured so that it can lead to a better future.
Microsoft is planning on its connected vehicle platform to change the way vehicles are manufactured and engage with the latest technology available.

The software manufacturer, last month, launched the platform which is looking to engage with manufacturers. Recently Microsoft joined hands with Tata Motors for the betterment of the vehicles for the near future.

Norm Judah, Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft Services commented, "There is a huge investment (globally) happening in the entire value chain of connected vehicle platform. When that investment happens, we want to be a provider of the platform that's why we are building this technology as a platform."

He further added, "We think that's a massive platform opportunity. While Judah declined to name companies that they were talking to, he admitted that the list in India will be a significant one, which will go beyond cars as well.

Microsoft calls it the - connected vehicle because it is not only about cars, but anything that is on the run will have to have a similar limitation in being able to connect, provide, and manage services.

Microsoft claims that the next technology wave is the shift from cloud to artificial intelligence, data, and programming. Is also meand that India must be able to adapt and let go off auto technology to move in ordered with the rest of the globe.

What ever Microsoft has claimed, if it runs successfully, then nothing can be better that that. One of the reason being, that car will run safer on the roads leading to less tragedies.
