Michael Schumacher's Ferrari Enzo & FXX For Sale
During his long association with Ferrari, seven time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher acquired several high priced assets which only an official driver of his caliber can dream of owning. Two such highly coveted assets once owned by the former F1 driver were two Ferrari hypercars.
The first is a one-off Enzo developed specially for Schumacher by Ferrari and the other is an Enzo FXX track car. Both these cars are now up for sale at a recognized Swedish supercar dealership, Garage Zénith. We do not why Schumacher decided to part with his Ferrari hypercars though.
Having been specially built for Schumacher, the Enzo features several personal touches by the racing legend, including his initials marked inside the car. Under its hood are several other signatures, including from Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo. Going by the Enzo's odometer, which reads 8,500 km, we can assume Schumacher loved travelling in his supercar. After all, the Enzo was the only Ferrari at the time which felt most like an F1 car to drive.
The Enzo FXX on the other hand has done 900 km. Understandable, since cars under Ferrari's FXX program are only meant to be driven on special track days. While only 30 Enzo based FXX hypercars were ever built, Schumi's Enzo FXX is the only one of its kind, bearing a black paint job. Schumi's FXX is also well known for its outing on Top Gear's track, with the legend himself behind the wheels.
Whoever ends up buying these historical Ferrari cars will have to spend about $1.47 million for the Enzo and $2.67 million for the Enzo FXX. But do keep in mind that the value of both these cars will increase several fold as the years pass. This makes the current price a bargain.
