Mercedes Drives Into The World Of Prams & There's Even An AMG Version - No Babying Here
Luxury carmaker Mercedes in collaboration with German pushchair manufacturer Hartan, has introduced a new collection of high-tech pushchairs. The innovative range includes All-Terrain, Avantgarde, Performance models and even an AMG GT model with an even special edition version limited to 299 units.
The highlight of the Mercedes Pram collection is the robust "Vegan Leatherette" material, which has the appearance and feel of fine leather but is entirely animal product-free. This hard-wearing and breathable fabric has been tested for durability through 100,000 abrasion cycles, claims Mercedes.
The All-Terrain GTR model is said to be perfect for parents who seek quality, comfort, and style and is equipped with lightweight, ball-bearing air chamber wheels with grip tyres for maximum off-road mobility. Whether on cobblestones, forest paths or gravel, the extra-large, sprung swivel wheels ensure a comfortable ride for the little one.
The All-Terrain GTR features a height-adjustable handle for different parent heights and an extra-long footrest for the baby's feet that is adjustable. The GTR model sports a magnetic five-point safety harness to keep the little one safe.
The Avantgarde model combines ergonomic functionality, innovative materials and a modern, sporty look. It is available with either the GTX or GTS seat unit. The GTX seat unit is a lightweight unit with an ergonomic shape, while the GTS counterpart offers a horizontally adjustable reclining surface for maximum comfort.
The Performance model of the Mercedes pram provides safety on any terrain, with a manually operated parking brake and a handbrake on the handle as standard. It features lockable swivel wheels, adjustable suspension and a swivel push bar that make it a flexible everyday companion.
The three Mercedes Pram models - All-Terrain, Avantgarde and Performance are available in five colourways - Rubellit, Opalith, Denim Blue, Tartufo and Sage Grey.
The AMG GT model is from Merc's AMG performance sub-brand. It combines sportiness, flexibility and maximum ride comfort. This model will also be available as an exclusive limited edition, limited to 299 units worldwide, it sports a hyper blue/ black colourway.
The 'regular' Mercedes AMG GT pram features cross-spoke wheels in a genuine AMG design and is available in two colourways, Night Black and Magma Beam.
Each Mercedes pram model also comes with a Bag2Go, a premium bag ideal for carrying essentials like mobile phones, keys, and bottles and can be attached to the pushchair with a click.
