Gucci In Sloane Street UK Robbed With Mercedes
Four wheelers provide robbers with an effective tool to thieve. Referred generally as ram raid, robbers ram a four wheeler to break into a place and after stealing the valuables, get away in the same car. In this case, however, the thieves had to get away in another car.
Earlier this week, a 20 year old Gucci flagship boutique in Sloane Street, UK was ram raided by three unidentified men. These men shattered the large glass facade of the store using a black Mercedes and made away with an estimated 50 designer bags, each worth more than £2,000, BBC reports.

The Mercedes they used to break in was left unusable, which forced the robbers to make a getaway in a blue Audi A4 instead. The Scotland Yard is presently investigating.
While the Gucci store incurred quite a substantial loss, thanks to the expensive ride left behind by the thieves perhaps the store was able to recover at least some of the money lost.
