Mercedes-Benz's Silver Arrow Concept

What will happen when a premium car brand with a great history and a car brand work together? The result will be very much close to what you see below. The car you are looking at is the Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrow Concept that was designed by the Mercedes Benz Advanced Design Studio in collaboration with Hollywood script writers.

Mercedes-Benz and Hollywood came together to design a car that could compete in the 2011 Los Angeles Design Challenge. The aim of the challenge was to create a spectacular new film car for Hollywood.

The Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrow is said to be a homage to the German carmaker's 125 years of innovation in automotive technology and design. The Silver Arrow was used in a short film, set in the future, called Silver Lightning. The main protagonists are two crash test dummies who fight against a battering ram which is hell bent to crash the Silver Arrow.

The futuristic Mercedes-Benz Silver is an indicator of how future cars will look like. However, the designers have used elements from Mercedes-Benz sports cars that were used in races in the 1930s as well as the Uhlenhaut SLR from the 1950s in the concept.
