Mercedes-Benz Invisible Car With Zero Emissions
Mercedes-Benz has done the unthinkable. It has made an invisible car, although only from one side. The German premium carmaker has promoted its zero emission F-Cell car in a unique way. It has made the F-Cell invisible using latest LED technology.
Mercedes-Benz researchers were able to make the car look invisible through an illusion. The fitted digital SLR cameras on one side of the car and fixed LED mats on the other side. The LED mat displayed whatever the cameras captures on the other side giving viewers an impression that the car was actually invisible.
Mercedes-Benz's invisible car project was part of the publicity campaign to promote the F-Cell which is a zero emission electric car. Zero emissions mean the car's impact on the environment will also be invisible. To drive down this point, Mercedes-Benz used the illusion of the invisible car.
