25 years have passed but the McLaren F1, the masterpiece of former F1 car designer Gordon Murray is still one of the fastest cars on the planet today. With its top speed of 386.7 kph, the F1 held on to the record of 'World's Fastest Production Car' for 9 years before the Bugatti Veyron smashed its record by over 20kph.
