MathWorks, a prominent developer of mathematical computing software, recently wrapped up MATLAB EXPO 2024 in Bangalore. The event highlighted advancements in AI, automotive, and wireless communication sectors.
Over 600 engineers, scientists, researchers, and educators attended the conference. They engaged in keynote presentations, panel discussions, customer demos, technology showcases by MathWorks engineers, and a "Women in Technology" fireside chat.

The keynote session was led by Dr. Dhananjay Gore, Vice President-Engineering at Qualcomm. His presentation titled "On the Path to 6G: Driving Advanced Wireless Technology Evolution" focused on advancements in 6G technology. Renowned speakers from various industries also shared their insights. Seema Chopra from Boeing and Kavitha P.S. from Continental India Limited were among them.
Tom Erkkinen, Product Manager for Embedded Code Generation at MathWorks, discussed the company's investment in Model-Based Design. He explained how this approach helps automate design tasks, detect defects, and scale complex digital systems.
